“After a long procrastination I indulged in these two Volumes on HJ. Being a non French speaker, a book in French should have little appeal but this is not so. The second volume covers the period from 6 June 1944 through to the 7th of July and the combat in this timeframe. The photographic coverage is excellent and includes many photos of the men of HJ as well as combat and location photographs. Well known photos are included but they grouped in context and the reproduction is very good. I have virtually all the standard works on HitlerJugend and this series is a worthy addition to the book shelf. I look forward to further releases in the series. Highly recommended - do yourself a favour.”
