Interesting departure from the 1944-45 German armor wreck series. Maybe some day we can see some photos on German half-tracks, heavy artillery, Flak 88 or even Italian military vehicles as used in North Africa.

Excellent reference book covering German Armoured Vehicles, destroyed or captured in the North African Theater during World War II. The many full page photographs, and numerous colour illustrations, make this a must have publication for any enthusiast of German armour.

Another great work to add to the series. Well up to standard. Bring on volume 23 to add to the library. When might we see some further volumes in the complimentary “In Focus” series?

Its like a book, and there are tanks in it, and some of them are like wrecked or something? Its like in Irak or somewhere. And Germans are like rilly bad and like, causes some trouble or whatever. If you like smashed up stuff its rilly good but my book had like no colour, all the photos are from like old times.

I was surprised that there were so few pictures of Mark III& IV tanks and no pics of Italian armour.

Hi Greg. I made a concious decision not to include lots of Panzer III & IV photos. Likewise Italian armour because the focus of the book, as the name implies, is AFVs that were in German use.

Another excellent book in the series. Many new (to me) photos with informative captions. The colour plates capture to look of their subjects very well.
