Not read yet but usual quality from this publisher when page turning looking at pictures / maps Covers full history of PzrRgt 2 and not just its role during Fall Blau / Stalingrad If only Panzer Krieg Volume 1 was reprinted

Jason Mark has done it again, his previous books like "Panzerkrieg: Volume 1 - German Armoured Operations at Stalingrad" follow's the Panzer Battalions attached to the Motorised Divisions. In this volume it follows 16. Panzer Division, one of the first units to the Volga. The photo quality are outstanding, very detailed captions, full of the life of the individual's in this battle. It's a gripping read and build's up the pre-Fall Blau history well before we get to Stalingrad. It complement's any other Stalingrad history well, particularly Mark's and Glantz's works. If any Author I trust more on these German Unit histories of Stalingrad, Its Jason Mark. Panzer Regiment 2 are stripped down here and you get to know the personalities quickly, it makes you feel more the deeper and more desperate the campaign gets. I know after this Panzerkreig Vol. 3 will be on 24th Panzer Divison "The famed Leaping Horseman Division", this is a area Jason has covered in a book previously but this time it'll receive the same treatment 16. Panzer Division has. Overall ANY person studying Stalingrad needs these books in there library, these operations may have happened over 80 years ago but they have many valuable lesson's that current military commander's and soldiers have forgotten, particularly in armoured warfare and logistics. Overall the quality of these books is outstanding, I'm glad Panzerwrecks Ltd gets these high end books in as no one else will.
