“An exhaustive work on a favourite subject of armour enthusiast and modelkit builder alike. Divide into 8 chapters dealing with painting, national insignia, unit emblems, tactical symbols and so. Contains 34 pages of colour plates to lively up the b/w photos. The book really makes you look very closely at the photographs in order to identify its characteristics. And although not the most "exciting" photos from a diorama potential pov, I am glad these are published and thus made accessible to the general audience. A worthy successor to the Panzer Colors trilogy by Bruce Culver.”

“A privately published but quite extensive work, excellent selection of photographs, and first rate colour illustrations. The text is informative and the translation is excellent. The photos are well and concisely captioned good quality reproduction although there are some which will be blurred or slightly off given the conditions in which they were taken. A good book which will probably sell out pretty quickly.”
