“Useful book with high quality photos and artwork useful to a modeller. It didn't really advance my knowledge as a keen armour reader, but is a great one-stop directory of each German tank that served in WW2. Hard cover and paer are great quality. The only thing I thought was an obvious error was the well-known Tiger B photo on page 131 that is captioned as being destroyed by a bazooka. It was clearly hit in the side of the turret by an AP round (probably 90mm) and the penetration damage looks nothing like the smaller "witches kiss" of a shaped charge impact.”

“Useful book on the main tanks of the Wehrmacht covering pzkpfw I to IV, Panther, Tiger 1 and Tiger 2. Most of the photos are printed quite large and clearly. Some of the pzkpfw I and 2 photos I'd not seen before. As a modeller, the colour plates were useful.”
