Tensor Trail Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pad Regular Reviews

4.8 Rating 59 Reviews
I have been on the hunt for a pad for some time now reading hundreds of reviews. The Nemo gets raving reviews online and the price point is perfect. Was some delays getting it but the customer service from the team here at ozbackcountry must be commended. Constantly keeping me updated on the delay (which overall was relatively minor). I would take a chance on the nemo, especially if you are a taller and wider fella like myself and want to upgrade to a high quality without the high price.

Very comfortable & light! Wide is definitely the way to go. Louder than I expected - I move a lot, and that kept me and others at camp awake. Someone else had the same pad and moved around even more, was so loud.

I have the regular wide since I’m a side sleeper, very comfortable, warm during those cold nights. Used for 2 nights best experience compared to others I used in past. I left a good review earlier but need to update as during my Next trip, first night, just inflated and had a big puncture on the top, very disappointing, the material does not seem durable at all, now I’m scared to take it on multi day hikes. It could have been the one but not to be. I wouldn’t recommend for the price you pay.

I’ve got to say the Tensor Ulralight Sleeping Pad Mattress far exceeded my expectations. On a 3 day trail hike, it packed in small and light. As a side sleeper the pad was so comfortable, no rustling noises and quick to set up. Repacking even easier.

Comfortable, light and quiet. Kept me warm in the Australian Alps at temperatures cold enough to freeze water in my water bottle. I found the regular to be quite narrow so if weight was not a priority I would prefer the “wide” mat.

It is comfortable, I chose the regular wide, I’m a side sleeper and it’s very comfortable, has kept me warm in cold weather low single digits Victorian Alps. The top if using quilt has a nice feel to it. It does not bottom out and you lay very comfortably and not roll around with how it is designed. Considering the R value, light weight and warmth highly recommended.

Easy to inflate and deflate. Packs small and light. Quieter than most

This mat was very warm. Warmer than expected! Coupled with a sea2summit spark 3 it was WAY too hot for desert nights on the Larapinta @ 2-6 °C. Uncomfortably hot even with an unzipped bag. Consider your overall sleep system. Otherwise it does make a little noise. A little more than average. I do like it although will need to change my bag to something lighter.
