“I bought 2 of these, one for a Wave and the other for a surge. Fantastic value and certainly the cheapest I found anywhere. I do not see me ever using the lanyard clip but time will tell I suppose. Great build quality, very secure and offers a further dimension to how you carry your tool. If I do buy any more leathermans I will be buying more clips.”

“I've read quite a few negative reviews about of this product (mostly it bending when becoming snagged on something). But this has not been my experience at all, the clip is sturdy enough (I don't have need for the lanyard). Obviously it can't be made from heavy gauge steel because it would lose it springiness to function as a clip. Overall, I am very pleased with the product, and it is very convenient to use your leatherman, rather than having to constantly pull it out of its leather case. I also think that one would have to snag it very hard to damage it. And if in the unlikely event it does become damaged... Buy another one! Because its certainly cheap enough, in fact I think I might purchase another one as a spare.”
