“At first I thought this was very comfortable and although it wouldn't fit inside many shoes it was fine within walking boots. It reduced the ache in the lower joint in my toe (deformed by the bunion) and I think eased the developing hammer toe in the toe next to it, but after walking for a few miles I developed severe pain in the last joint of my big toe, just below the nail. I may try using just the strap that goes round the foot, but trying to straighten my big toe causes more problems than it solves.”
