“Bought the Ribcap baseball hat for my 83 year old father who has seizures where he often falls and hits his head. After a recent serious fall I’ve been trying to get him to wear some sort of head protection when he goes out but he’s refused because, in his words, they make him ‘look old and incapacitated’. I bought the Ribcap for him to try and he loves it (his words). Only time will tell how useful it is if he falls but for now it has given him a little of his confidence back. As someone who works in an area related to design it is good to see a design solution that takes into account the more subtle needs of a user beyond the need to offer physical protection.”
