“Hi there. I have recently been under the Gloucester hospital Orthotics dept for fitting a full length, hinged calliper to my ‘worn-out’ polio leg and have been given your heel elevators because the leg is shorter and in the calliper the heel is off the ground by around 15 cm. I wanted enough to be able y To put them in all my shoes not needing to swap from one to the other but I am entitled to a specific number from the hospital! I find I can get my foot into a few pairs and the elevators make walking possible. However, I didnt see a choice of density when I ordered and firm would have been better.”
