This complete vermicomposting kit includes approximately 250 g of live tiger composting worms so you can begin composting straight away. The stackable tray design allows continuous composting while keeping the process simple and tidy. How the Wormery Works Food scraps are added to the top tray where the tiger worms naturally break down organic waste. As trays fill, the worms migrate upwards through ventilation holes to reach fresh food, leaving finished compost ready to harvest in the lower trays. Liquid fertiliser collects in the base tray and can be easily drained using the built-in tap. Includes Live Tiger Composting Worms This wormery includes approximately 250 g of live tiger worms, one of the most effective composting worms for home wormeries. These worms actively consume fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds and other suitable organic waste. As they digest food waste, they produce nutrient-rich worm castings that create high-quality compost packed with beneficial microbes to support healthy soil and plant growth.
