“This is just a death by PowerPoint - the language used is sometimes indecipherable and I suspect it has not been written by a native English speaker, which would be OK if it wasn't trying too hard to be scientific and failing miserably. I also object to the use of the words 'victims' and 'sufferers' as this is extremely negative language to use, implying passivity, for any disability or disease. The referencing is attrocious as it is inconsistent in format and there are no links or full references given at the end of each module, should you want to be scientific and look at the evidence they have tried to present. The references are about 20 years out of date anyway, so am not sure it would be worth the bother, but not to have them is extremely unprofessional. This presentation it would fail as an undergraduate project by a long shot! The layout of the information on the slides is not easy to follow, making pertinent information hidden in irrelevant information,and, the sequencing of the slides is dreadful, with the title of each slide being the last item to come up and being completely unnecessary to add as an interactive feature. Any models referred to are under explained, as well as some acronyms not being explained, and some explanations of acromyns missing words associated with the letters in the acronym completely and, any diagrams provided are completely meaningless. You would be far better off listening to the audio book 'What I wish people knew about dementia' by Wendy Mitchell, 2022.”
