“These caps are ok but not amazing. Disabled son had dropped bottle and red one had smashed. Hence I ordered more. This cap got dropped on its maiden voyage and also smashed. Not sure about the others yet.”

Hi there, Sorry to hear about your cap breaking. Our caps are made from BPS/BPA and phthalate free polypropylene. We use this material as it’s the most readily recyclable plastic material, one of the only plastics that can be recycled many times and is universally collected for its commodity value. We are now making our caps from Ocean Sourced polypropylene. This circular economy adds future value to discarded polypropylene and means it is less likely to be dumped and more likely to be recycled also less likely to degrade and cause microplastic problems. Polypropylene doesn’t leach any toxins into your drinks and is also very durable if looked after but it is slightly more brittle than softer plastics – it is the plasticisers that contain the harmful chemicals in plastics. The softer plastics are also less likely to be recycled and have a shorter span of recycling opportunity. Our warranty covers manufacturing issues, but not accidental damage, such as falls.
