“We used our best efforts to make this work but due to the top width of our stairway being different to the bottom width we could not make it work . We needed the extenders for the top but not the bottom. On top of this the instructions are difficult to interpret.”

“Using this to stop our cocker spaniel puppy from getting upstairs. It was surprisingly difficult to find a gate that was less than 76cm wide, which is the minimum most start from, so was pleased to find this. The quality is good, but the instructions are appalling. I eventually gave up and just fiddled with it to figure it out. The main issue is the door is out of alignment, i discovered it gradually aligns as you tighten the adjustable screws that are braced against the wall. Also i thought the open button was broken as nothing happens when you press it. I discovered you have to slide the button back and lift the gate up slightly to open it and lift up then drop back into position to close. The button doesn't retract the little lock thingies, you have to lift the gate off them.”

“Gate is fine and ordering / delivery were excellnt. Why can't companies produce instruction leaflets that make sense? Luckily this is fairly intuitive. Ther are supposed to be self adhesive pads but I saw no sign of them but can't see they are necessary.”
