“This is a well-made gate, and it does the job we wanted. We thought it was a reasonable price for the quality of the materials. Some good solid metals are used in its construction. It does need some care in setting up first time. To get the gate opening mechanism working properly you have to get the tensions on the screw fittings just right. Overall, a purchase we are very happy with.”

“It was just the ticket, I installed it at my daughters house Wednesday, it's upset our grandson as it's stopped his passage through the door butter it's certainly made it safer for all concerned thank you......”

“Sturdy gate easy to set up. You just need to make sure the gate is lock before & after open it as it does not have self closing hinges. Overall good gate happy with it.”

“Beware - the gate has a fundamental flaw, in that it doesn't require 2 different movements to open, and so is easily openable by any child whose hand is big enough to go around the handle. The description of the opening mechanism on this website is wrong, there is no slide and no tilt involved. Instead (as is shown in the website photos), there is just a button on top and a button underneath the handle which need to be squeezed together. Very little force is required and, as feared, my child has worked out how to open this almost immediately. For a baby (or a pet) this gate would be fine, but I will be returning this as it does not match the description and is not fit for purpose.”
