“Beautifully machined in natural wood, that can be painted as you wish or left in its natural, unvarnished state. It looks good and sturdy when completed. We will paint it to make it easier to clean as I think greasy marks will be hard to shift. In assembly, we found the pre-drilled holes were a very tight fit for the screws and the Allen key provided was too soft. Fortunately, we possessed a much stronger one and we were able to screw them completely flush so no screw head was showing. Olivers Baby Care was very helpful when I reported our initial problem to them.”

“The product itself is very good and what we hoped it would be, but the one thing that let it down was the allen keys supplied, which didnt fit the screw heads at all well, such a shame for the sake of another 50p on a decent one!”

“Got this for my granddaughter as she loves helping in the kitchen. Chose this one as it has an adjustable step so it will last until she is tall enough to reach herself. Love the finish, it could be painted if you wanted but we love it as it is. The only issue we had is the quality of the allen key..it was very soft and the head bent so had to use one we already had. Also had to retighten after it had been built and settled down so needs to be checked..but that is to be expected. Build was very easy.”

“This has helped my 2 year old granddaughter become more independent. She can climb into it by herself and we have only been using it for a week but she has helped me make cakes, done painting, had snacks in it and loves helping prepare food with me. I am disappointed with the finish of the item though as it is not varnished so it already looks shabby with greasy fingermarks on it which I cannot remove.”

“Construction isn’t great. The part to stand on is sitting on a about 3mm of a ledge with no other support, it feels a little precarious, we have added some small L brackets underneath to ensure it doesn’t slip out. One of the pre drilled holes is bigger than the screws provided so there’s no way of tightening it, which means the whole thing is slightly wobbly. Not great when you have a boisterous little boy who likes to rock anything they’re stood on.”

“Our 2 year old loves the tower. She’s so independent and loves cooking, washing up and observing everything happening in the kitchen. This allows her to do all of this in a safe way on a sturdy, well made tower.”
