“I was a bit dissapointed in this one, it looks very empty when you open it. I was very excited for the goache! The colors are gorgeous and the quality is great but I miss having the basic colors you usually get with paint like okre yellow, crimson red, kobalt blue and burnt sienna. The colors are all a bit off and my old mixing methods don't work as well with the colors in the box. Also glad I already had the watercolor box, otherwise this box doesn't give you a lot of brushes. I'm a bit saddened that the prices are going up but it also seems to me that the content you receive is lower in value.”

“I've tried gouache before but this time I took time to get to know the medium before using it. Which meant reasing the magazine and studying how the artists have used the medium in their work. It gave me the confidence I needed to get to work and wow! I'm loving it, especially when I just sat down and took my time. I've started a victorian building piece and it's going great. Thank you for making this box, it's really amazing!”

“I loved this box. I am getting back into art after a long time and absolutely love trying out new things that I never got taught in school. This gouache set is gorgeous to unbox and to use which makes me want to keep having a go and getting better. The quality is amazing which it turns out is part of the secret to creating beautiful things.”

“First time trying gouache and loved the colours. Wish there were more. I would give it 5 stars, but I do feel that the tutorials are sadly lacking and you can find much better on Instagram and You Tube. That said, I do enjoy getting my artful boxes. I wish each box included either a suitable palette for paints or a proper case or holder for pens/pencils/brushes. I would strongly encourage anyone thinking about trying a new type of art to try these Artful boxes. Quality is good and encourages you to try new things.”
