“I was pleasantly surprised by the coloured pencil artful subscription box. I had almost opted to skip this box because coloured pencils are something I can be quite fussy about, I am glad I didn't. The colours lay down smooth on the artful paper that was provided in the box and the pencils layered well allowing for a full range of drawing techniques to be used. There were some gaps in the colour representation and not being able to replace single colours will be frustrating eventually but for now, these pencils far exceeded my expectations and the magazine, as always is a great source of inspiration for artists of all levels.”

“Colouring pencils have an oil base so they’re very smooth and soft on paper. They blend nicely too. Lovely set of 36 pencils to use as you desire. Plenty of paper to practice on in the pack. Great guidance from the magazine. This pack was a little sparse compared to the others. Sadly, the razor from my sharpener was missing, this wasn’t in the box, so I had to use another.”
