“I bought this stevia powder in the search for a stevia sweetener to replace my usual purchase of Nature's Garden Stevia from Holland and Barrett, which is annoyingly consistently out of stock. This stevia powder from Nutriseed seems to be a nice quality product but be warned, it's nothing like a sugar replacement; it's green in colour and I would describe it as tasty like mild green tea with both sweet and bitter elements. I've tried to use it in coffee and it does not work at all, turning the coffee green and with a sediment, and it sweetens the drink in a not-so pleasant way. I'm not sure if I'll use the remainder of the packet as it's just nothing like what I expected. This may be down to my ignorance (one lives and learns) and I was happy to experiment but on this occasion the experiment failed and I'll continue to look for an alternative stevia sweetener suitable for coffee, tea, etc.”
