Yak cags, at least, are severely under-rated, so this looked worthwhile. This is made from similar fabrics and seems well-made, if somewhat complex and over-designed. It also joins with most other similar designs in making a slim wearer look morbidly obese, which surely isn’t necessary. Or at all desireable. A genuinely large person might not even be able to paddle wearing something like this, although I suppose it would be unlikely they’d sink. This was bought for it’s greater bouyancy and it’s suitability for instructing. I doubt we’ll regret buying it, but why can’t one of the major manufacturers make something like this that is simple, minimal and doesn’t make you look like you ate all the pies and now can’t get out of your kayak?
