Massively over engineered, doesn't need to be so complicated or have so many parts. There is a large gap all the way around so doesn't even fit that well to be honest. I would have returned except nobody else makes a dog guard that fits my car. I've always bought Travall dog guards and they are far superior, but I'm stuck with it as no other option. Overly complicated to fit too, expensive for what it is,but at least my car is technically legal with a dog in the back. If you have a larger dog forget it, there's no way it would hold up in an accident, luckily I have small dogs, but honestly I'm still not sure how well it would do in an accident because of the massive gaps all around it, not very impressed, wouldn't recommend.

Sorry to see this. From the photos I can see that the headrest need to be raised slightly until they click and lock into place. This will then give you height adjustment to move the barrier a bit higher and reduce the gap. These barriers need to be built like they are to pass safety testing and crash testing to ensure they keep the vehicle passenger safe. Please rest assured that these are highly tested. From the Manufacturers website - it has passed the Crash-Test required by the German DIN Norm. The RDA barrier is also in use by the ITALIAN POLICE!
