“The Dog Guard was exactly as described .
The fittings seem strong and secure although the instructions took a while to understand . The fixings do slightly overhang the rear seats rather than sitting snugly on the top as had been illustrated in photos on the website.
It looks very neat in the car and so far does not rattle or move . However please note I would not recommend it for a small or boisterous dog that are not use to car journeys … it really needs to be higher so that it fits closer to the roof of the car …I felt there was a considerably large gap of nearly 4” above it bearing in mind it is supposed to be custom made for my car . An anxious or persistent dog could chew through the mesh or even squeeze through the gap at the top .
It is fine for my dog who travels well and it fulfils the Highway Code guidance to keep her restrained in the back and also prevents her from hanging her head over the back seats .
Just a shame it wasn’t a little bigger .”
