“We were concerned about the stability of the roof bars, after reviewing, again Thule or Halfords do not make models for the 3-door fiesta and to use these once-a-year Ford Roof Bars was too costly. At first, we agreed, that the parts looked a lot, the instructions were a little poor, but once we got going and figured this out, assembly 30 minutes, and 30 minutes fit time on car.
We took to cornwall with a topbox and bars are lovely and sturdy and well made, well tested and no issues at all.”
“Gernerally speaking , they are OK! Had it not been for multiple cars, I’d have bought the Propper Ford ones.
Ordering and receiving was pretty easy. Bit annoyed that I paid for express delivery and still took over a week to arrive .
The rack are OK. They are abit of a pin to build because the instructions are very unclear , there were parts not referenced , that were included and some of the plastic nails weren’t there .
I eventually got them built a and fitted , took a good couple of hours . There are no clear plastic paint protectors like a Thule kit would include. As Thule don’t make a fiesta kit, well, that’s how I’m here writing this.
I had an issue with the window seal, the plastic tool for moving the seal caused the seal to pop in and causing me to waste another 20mims trying to get it back. I learn that opening the doors and sliding the plastic tool down the inside of the seal was best, then popping the foots in was best.
The racks seem good quality , the freer seem sturdy enough , the plastic covers are exceptionally difficult to fit on and there’s a hum that occurs on one of the feet which for the life of me, I can’t get rid of. The plastic bar caps are plastic tat but they do the job.”
