“This is my first coffee grinder.
I've only been using the Sage grinder for a few days but already have it dialled in to my favourite Lavaza beans and am making really nice espresso. The difference compared to using pre-ground coffee is huge. It creates a much more flavoursome shot.
I like the look of the grinder, its compact size on the counter and how easy it is to adjust and save the settings. The consistency of the grind is excellent while it can be adjusted in small steps if required. I have it paired with a Sage bambino plus espresso machine and am really happy with the results.
I would highly recommend this coffee grinder and brand generally.”
“Convincing build quality and accessories are robust and well thought out.
For example, lock on hopper and magnets at back of portafilter holders (54mm and 58mm supplied) are useful features.
Easy to use and to adjust.
Top burr comes out easily for cleaning, although how to do this could be better illustrated in instruction manual.
Have only ground for espresso and moka pot so far and it's produced consistent results.
On line reviews suggest it may not be quite so suitable for coarser grinds but that's of less concern to me.
All in all I'm happy with it.”
