“I recently bought a pair of Mach 5s, which are exceptionally comfy and responsive. Since the Mach 4s were half price, I thought I’d give them a go even though I’d not tried them before. The reviews were good, though all stated the Mach 5s were better, and they are. The Mach 4s feel very different – they do not envelope your feet the way the Mach 5s do and provide a harder ride. They’re still better than Nike Pegasus in terms of feel, if not durability. I haven’t ran much in them but I’m not sure I’d buy another pair, even on offer, given how much I like the Mach 5s.”
“Really pleased with these. Fit was half a size bigger than my normal (Asics) equivalent. The half size bigger fit really snug aound midfoot, and a bit of space in the toes.
Feel very supportive underfoot, without being too much (which is why I've avoided Hoka previous, felt the sole was just too chunky. These feel great. Highly recommended.”
