“I have worn these shoes for 2 off-road runs and have had pain around the front of my ankle. Something I have never experienced from La Sportiva trainers (Mutant and Tempesta) in the past, so I am not sure whether their is a defect or the BOA system just does not work for me. However, for support around the foot, the trainers are stable. The trainers are not too heavy and offer some good ventilation. The grip is fosfter than the Mutant and Tempesta, so better for smoother trails.”
“I already had a pair of these but wanted a half size larger. Unfortunately the larger size were a little big and we’re returned. Northern Runner we’re great with sorting this. However, my original pair have loosened up a little.
I love them. They’re reasonably firm but for me I like that feeling. I can feel what’s going on under my feet.
The outsole is incredibly grippy. I’ve charged up and down hills in the dry and some sloppy mud and never have I slipped.
The boa system is amazing! There’s no pressure points over the top of my foot, they feel like they wrap around the foot and the heel hold is excellent.
I love these shoes and will be running snowdon in them very soon”
