“Ultra soft - Hoka Bondis have reduced my injury frequency massively over the past 3 years, to almost zero. Previously it seemed like a couple of times per year.

“Firstly, thanks to Charlie for some great advice on the sales email enquiry. I’m a larger runner (114kg) and after initially using Brooks adrenaline last year to get back into running, suffered a bad ankle sprain early this year.
So, in the pursuit of post physio recovery, I’d been trying to get the miles back up using more stable (than the brooks imo, very heel strike ish) Altra shoes. However, I was suffering some tendonitis in my ankles. Charlie was great at listening to my situation and answering my questions.
The Hoka Bondi 7 are great! I wish I’d tried them first when I was….138kg especially! Very stable platform, some people feel them as firm but I think for a larger runner like me, this isn’t the case as they just feel springy and comfortable. I’m back to increasing mileage to pre injury levels (30km people) and ankles feel great.
Regarding torment, I have some other Hoka and maybe half don’t need a wide but I do definitely need it in the Bondi, my feet are moderately wide so if yours are wide even consider the 4e as these are a little narrow in the middle.
Great running shoes for pounding the pavements!”
