I love these - I have wide feet and fallen arches and these feel spectacular. Extremely light and very comfortable - they do get wet extremely easily but they also dry extremely easily. HIGHLY recommended

I agree with the other reviews, this shoe is super comfortable. A slipper in the world of running shoes. Lots of toe space but also the entire upper is built strong enough, but without "hard bits" that dig into your foot and eventually cause a stress point where the mesh fails. They are not bouncy like HOKA nor rigid like Innov8, but a great balance. The feel of the upper is similar to the Merrell Bare access flex. The sole is thicker than the Flex's bare-foot (minimal) padding and avoids Merrell's slightly intrusive (to some) arch support.

After using the shoes a couple of times I'm really happy with them. Them have been comfortable and not had to be broken in. The wide foot box I a game changer. Would definitely recommend.

In theory, great. Loads of space in the toebox for spreading toes while running, which is lovely - even though it should just be a given that you need this. It's really something actually, I will likely stick with Altra in future if this is the norm for their shoes. Some other reviews said they were a little loose around the heels/ankles - perhaps, but they aren't going to come off, and with a heel lock I didn't notice any slipping. I wouldn't want tight ankle support, so for me this is fine. Unfortunately I gained 20kg during the winter lockdown so I can't comment on my own performance in them. My pace has doubled and it's a miracle my Achilles tendon hasn't snapped.

Using these for day hikes. My big toe is still tender for boots that I previously used. Not sure if l got half size to small or not yet used to the wide toe box. Otherwise so far so good.

I have wide feet and find these shoes the ideal fit, for running and hill walking. They are light, dry quickly and the cushioning is just what I require.
