“Purchased the older model of the shoe for various reasons! Cushioning is a little firm compared to the Hoka's I am moving away from, due to a narrow toe box. Ordered the wide fit as I have a square toes and the standard were too narrow in both the men's and women's; the newer version of shoe (v11) in the standard is also too narrow and in the wide was too voluminous and a completely different fit to the v10, so not an option! Unfortunately that means if these "work" for my long distance shoe then I am going to be stuck once they wear out as the new ones are too different and don't fit my feet! Back to square one. I do wish manufacturers would leave shoes alone for a while - especially when they have had such good reviews - why change them again! So far - I like them - my last pair of 1080's were the v3 and they have come on a long way since then :-)”
“I always wear New Balance trainers. Until I discovered them many years ago I had problems with comfort and found that I had to buy again and hope wearing would prove to be comfortable - costly! For me, NB wide fit are perfect and wear very well. The colour choice is also good. The service from Northern Runner was excellent.”
