“I wanted to love these but my little toes struggled with the rigid framing of the toe box (which was disappointingly narrower than my expectations of ‘anatomical’). Unfortunately the shoes are unwearable (for me) after about 5km. Back to an exclusive relationship with Altra - the crushed toes will teach me for straying!”
“With just over 100 miles in these now I think it’s fair to say that the Phantom is a great mid distance every day shoe that suits cow field trails as it does the road and pavements. Very similar to Altra’s regular Timp 4.0 only with a better lace. The sole seemed stiff when out of the box but with 100+ miles I feel they are just coming to life. A converted Topo Fan.”
