Superior 3.5 Mens Zero Drop Trail Running Shoes Blue Reviews

4.6 Rating 13 Reviews
These shoes are excellent. I've had some issues with my toes from sticking my feet into climbing shoes so running for more than a few miles has been particularly painful in 'regular' running shoes. The wider toe box allowed my toes to spread out naturally and run pain free. Also feel like the zero drophelped me to naturally improve my form. Got a new PB on my first run in these. Will definitely be switching my other active footwear to Altras going forward.

Ive run Altra shoes since May 2019 and purchased these in September 2019, having run road in the Escalante 1.5 and trails and ultra distance events in the Timp 1.5 i was keen to try what promised to be a more lithe shoe option for trail time fun, i was not let down, from the off these are just as comfortable on tarmac and other inoffensive terrain just the same as the higher cushioned Timp, i can imagine over time they would be a bit more fatiguing to the feet as the distance goes up but for 10 - 30km these will be just the ticket for a faster and somewhat grippier shoe than I've had in the Timp, the fit is slightly narrower to me than the Timp and i think as a result they feel a bit more like a racing shoe to me and also lend the confidence to push on technical terrain with the lower profile. Im just gutted i haven't found Altra until this year.

Was in dire need of shoes with a proper toe box. That, and the provided traction, comfort and breathability at given weight, were enough to exceed my expectations of my first Altras. Thank you.

Having previously used 3 pairs of Lone Peaks, buying these was an experiment. Having done a few runs in them including an 18 mile trail run, they’ve proved to be a really comfortable shoe, which feels a bit more agile and flexible than the Lone Peaks. It may be my imagination but I think they may work the calves a bit harder too which can’t be a bad thing! Anyway, I highly recommend them.
