“Only done 30km in them so far, but very happy with these 2016 Inov-8 Roclite 280 shoes. They provide great grip on mixed terrain, and strike a good balance between close fit about the ankle & mid-foot versus a roomy toe-box, and cushioning & protection versus feedback from the trail surface. Will definitely try to track down some more 2016 models while they’re still out there -beware that in late 2017, Inov-8 inexplicably shrank the volume of their Roclite range, and the fit is no longer good for high wide feet like mine :o(”
