“I have to comment on both Northern Runner who supplied my shoes and the shoes themselves. Due to the Corvid 19 pandemic this was, of necessity, an on-line purchase. The gentleman to whom I spoke was extremely helpful and patient. I am in the strange position of having had my gait analysed by three running shops in the past, two said I pronate, the other that I didn't. I have worn NB stability shoes in the past and have found them comfortable, much more so than the last 3 pairs of Asics Gel Pulse that I have worn in the light of my most recent non-pronating gait analysis
The gentleman at Northern Runner advised that in light of the fact that we could not re-examine my gait I would probably be better buying the brand that historically had proven to be the most comfortable. Thus I chose NB 860 v8 width D. I am delighted with them. They remain the most comfortable shoe have worn and I very much enjoy 'running' in them. I say 'running' since, now aged 73, I can manage nothing like the pace I could when in my 30's but still derive as much pleasure from it.
