I am a fit senior citizen. I have wide forefeet and have often been told just buy the next size up. Great if you never run downhill. These shoes hold my feet in place but leave my toes alone. Also great cushioning. I am just starting running again after a midfoot injury and these give great confidence.

I really like the nice wide toe box so your toes can wiggle freely. Zero drop, you may need to stretch your calves out after. Very light weight. Seem to be really good quality. i bought them for running and hiking - tested them out in the Lake District and in a soaking muddy Yorkshire Dales, in both cases they got soaked all day but dried off quickly and cleaned up nicely. May bin my hiking boots... The wide flat soles make walking in wet mud a little strange at first, your foot doesn't sink so easily so you slip around, but because they're so light and bendy you quickly find your footing. My only criticism is they're slippery on wet rock, but again they're so nimble you can get out of trouble. Its refreshing to be able to spend all day in them walking an running miles and then wear them on the drive home - I usually felt like ripping my other trainers and boots off after all that. I can move faster and cover more miles without feeling fatigued. Would definitely buy again. Plus, bright red :-)
