This it suitabe for bigger birds, in being that it is well made and very strong. Its a good toy to help them forage for their food thus keeping them occupied for a while.Only criticism I have is I think the holes are a little too big. I was hoping to be able to put nuts or other larger food items in the toy but they would just keep falling out.

I wasnt expecting this to be so large. For smaller birds, it is too large to use as a push around treat ball. Instead, for my conures, I have suspended it from a skewer fruit kabob, and filled it with shredded paper and nutriberries, to be used as a foraging toy. They love it.

My parrot loves this foraging toy. I place nuts and other treats inside and he spends lots of time getting them out.

I bought this ball to replace a previous different brand ball that my African Grey started to destroy. This ball is very tough and he spends many hours playing with it, however unlike the previous ball he had, this ball is twice the weight and hence he cannot sit and hold it in his hand as he likes doing, so the amusement he gets from this ball is not very much as he can only play with it on the ground, but at least he won't be eating it.

This is study and I found it quite hard to get the threads lined up accurately and do up. However my macaws unscrewed the two halves in less than a minute. It has now gone to my amazon - it has taken him a bit longer but he has now started to undo it as well!
