“Unit looks good in situ - matches our decor. Handy seat for putting on and removing footwear. Good for storing shoes out of sight (up to four adult pairs). Hinges on lid open just over halfway back, so not very wide. Cushion is literally a piece of sponge - covering has no label (don’t know what the material is - just not great quality). A few of the components arrived with chips (as with all the pieces we’ve ordered). Didn’t bother complaining as they are not visible and didn’t fancy waiting for replacements to arrive. It fits almost perfectly adjacent to stairs. Therefore unable to fix to a wall. Hence I won’t risk hanging more than a couple light coats as it flexes with any weight.”

“The unit itself looks very nice and easy enough to put together. I managed to put together by myself, though would advise 2 people to do it. Once together it is pretty solid. It comes with 2 brackets to fix to the wall which is recommended as it is a little bit unsteady (being tall and slim). The cushion looks and feels of poorer quality, and we may replace this in the future. The lid opens with a piston hinge thing so it won't slam shut and opens very easily. Delivery was quick. Small area of damage to the corner of the huge back piece, but no worry to me as you can't see it when it is positioned in the place I will be putting it. Way too much polystyrene. Other companies are using more environmentally friendly alternatives. A tad annoying that this unit was put on offer the day after we ordered it. I have had other companies offer to reimburse the difference in the past when ordered just a few hours before the sale price started. Overall though very happy with the product and we are already looking out to buy more furniture from this company.”

“Very happy with the product. Adds character to our hallway, plenty of storage hooks and storage under bench. Only issue was a slight chip on the wood which will need touching up with paint.”

“We love this storage unit. It fits perfectly in our narrow hallway, and now keeps all our coats, bags etc tidy and in one place. It looks lovely and is very practical. Initially we thought it would be hard to build, but in the end it went fine. Very happy with this purchase, would recommend.”

“Really nice unit, looks more expensive than it is. Needs a lot of space to assemble, and preferably two people though I managed on my own. Comes with a cushion which isn't featured in the photos. Nice addition, but very basic grey fabric, which I recovered. Also re-painted the hooks from black to gold.”

“A nice item of furniture. I have been looking for one this size for quite a while with no success, but luckily came across this one.It is perfect! Very easy to put together, although the polystyrene was excessive, but once assembled it is well made, useful storage, for a lobby or boot room. Plenty of hooks , which are very solid, lots of room for coats, bags, etc, good shoe storage, and a handy shelf on the top, all for a very reasonable price!”
