“The fan motor fitted our Indesit cooker FID20 perfectly. It took my husband just under an hour to replace the fan motor. We had to take the oven out and replace it from the back. It's probably easier with 2 people to handle the cooker when taking out. We put the cooker straight onto a workmate. And two people is useful when you screw the motor in; the helper holds the motor steady at the back when the screw goes in from the front. The really handy hint you might need is: order a heat insulator/fan oven shield at the same time and therefore replace it while you have the oven out. The old one will almost certainly fall to bits or already be eroded as you remove it. One more handy hint: the fan blade unit has a left-handed screw! Lastly I must say how helpful the company NI Spares was on the phone. I got through easily and he was able to check the item we ordered to make sure it would fit. Very helpful and good service all round.”
