Bosch WAQ Series Washing Machine Door Seal Gasket The washing machine door seal, otherwise known as a gasket or rubber securely seals the door in place when shut to prevent any water getting out. You may need to replace the seal if your washing machine is leaking from the front of the door, the door seal is torn, warped or damaged or mould has built up at the bottom of the seal and it’s beyond cleaning. “Although a darker colour than the one removed it was and exact fit and works fine, if a little critical the material is not as pliable as Bosch one removed however this could be down to the age of the old seal, job done and machine working fine.”

“The replacement door seal for our Bosch washing machine arrived promptly. I fitted the seal yesterday without any problems. The washing machine has washed it's first load since seal replacement this morning without issue. All good so far.”

“The door seal has 2 locating lugs that fit into 2 slots in the plastic outer drum. The lugs on the seal are slightly too close together (say 15mm) so both can't fit and the seal can't seat properly. I had to make an enlarged slot in the outer drum to accommodate both lugs. The genuine Bosch part presumably wouldn't have this problem.”
