It is a fast setting two component Polyurethane foam designed specifically for the supporting and back-filling of wooden, PVC, steel and many other types of in-ground posts. The pre measured components make it simple and easy to apply by simply combining the two components as instructed.

Features and Benefits:

Easy to use - Lightweight and easy to use with no water or messy mixing required.
Quickly sets and fast to apply - sets in 3 - 5 minutes
High strength and resists impacts and shocks
Adheres well to wood, vinyl, and metal posts as well as to the ground better than concrete
Can be used all year round
Strong, easy and fast alternative to concrete

Sports posts

We recommend Osmo UK Post Fix for light to medium applications. The solution when mixed will fill a void of up to 10 litres in volume.

Installation Guide:

Dig a hole, carefully following the recommended guidelines. The hole should be no more than twice the width of the post.
Ensure there is no standing water in the hole.
Place the post in the hole and securely fix in place
Prepare the mixture by pouring the contents of the small bottle in to the larger bottle
Shake the bottle of Osmo UK Postfix for 20 seconds exactly - do NOT allow the expansion to start in the bottle
Pour the solution in to the hole whilst ensuring the post remains in position
Watch the solution expand in the hole whilst again ensuring the post stays in position
Once the solution has expanded cut away any excess foam
Cover with sand.

One carton arrived with both bottles used, opened. These did not work It took all six bottles to fix two posts in and still not up to ground level. I found that temperature on application was critical. Maybe this should be made more apparent in instructions. Yes I did make the hole twice the width of the post.8inch wide hole 30 inch deep 4 inch post. Like the idea but too expensive at the rate the product works.Had to finish the last three holes with Postcrete.

We are sorry to hear that you had problems using Postfix but it is very important that you follow the instructions exactly, it will not work if you create the wrong size hole.

It works well, but better instructions would be nice! It doesn't say the depth of the hole needed. All I can say is I'm glad I bought two! But yep, it did the job just fine.

This product was amazing and so easy to use... a little advise though the deeper and narrower the hole for the post the better it works.

Osmosis post fix was easy to use. However, there is not enough in one pack to do a post. That's if you fig the correct size hole. I needed 2 full packs to do one hole. Video on line shows only one pack per hole. This makes it very expensive. I would not have purchased this if I had known this in advance.

We are sorry to hear that you had a problem using Postfix, the product is well tried and tested but it is very important that you follow the instructions particularly regarding the size of the hole and the fixing of the post in place whilst it is applied and cured.
