“Both of us have this as an occasional afternoon drink now. I mix reishi powder with cocoa, add some rice protein powder as a 'rounder' or buffer to the bitter flavour, blend with some rice coconut milk and add hot water. We don't sweeten it, same as we don't with coffee, but if necessary you could maybe try some maple syrup to give it sweetness without the refined sugar.”

“This was my first purchase of the Reishi extract. Certainly not my last. I use it in my normal cuppa T and it gives it just a little extra bitterness (hardly noticeable now after a week) Thank you guys”

“Bought as an anti-inflammatory, and Yin and Blood tonic. It is fairly bitter and a bit umami but I don't want to mix it in savoury meals or soups as I want to have a certain measure each time. My solution is to mix it with cocoa, this won't be everyone's cup of tea (pardon the pun) but I thought 'if I can drink black coffee then this might work' and it does! A small amount of Reishi extract powder can be 'disappeared' into cocoa or cocoa mix (with other superfood powders). It's hard to say exactly what it's doing but I feel well and had been taking this (with astragalus) for a while and avoided getting a virus before Christmas so I do think it is part of supporting my immune system too. This is my second jar, very pleased with it - and love that it comes in a glass jar (recyclable and easier to spoon out than from a doypack bag).”
