“Tiger nuts are brilliant, its the complete guilt free snack and where Im used to nibbling on the unpeeled ones, I thought Id give these a try. The unpeeled have the advantage of lasting longer, in that it takes longer to actually eat them because you need to chew through the skin and due to the texture of the skin, this can be difficult enough and you might find yourself chewing on the skin remnants and they can be quite difficult to swallow. Id always make sure I had some water beside me chewing on the unpeeled ones as the skin can sometimes get caught in your throat. I do a lot of driving around Europe and could often be on the road for 10 hours driving at a time (notacho) and never drink coffee or other stimulants to keep me awake and find nibbling on things great to keep me busy and alert. Id make an apple last me about 30 minutes and find tiger nuts to be brilliant to chew on and would choose the unpeeled over the peeled in this situation.These peeled tiger nuts are far easier to eat and seem to have a much greater flavour as youre not mixing your chew with the skin. You dont need to worry about having some water with you. They are a perfect consistency, hard enough to give a good chew and soft enough to snack away on and Im sure would be fine to give to young children or anyone with not so strong teeth to nibble on. Its easy just to grab a handful and have a nice little snack and I also add them to different foods and meals quite often too.After having bought 1KG to try them out, Im back for more and I contacted the supplier and found them excellent to deal with. They replied to me very quick and answered every query I had in great detail and Ive ended up buying a load of packs and will probably give away a few over Christmas as I think people would be really impressed by how good a snack thats completely natural can be.”
