“We were insulating a cold roof and were torn between the slabs and the rolled CosyWool, in the end went with the rolled option. The wool stays well in between joists that are slightly narrower, anything over 400mm between joists needs a string to be criscrossed to stop it from falling out. But that's been a very easy fix and doesn't take much time, just need a stapler and a string. It takes a bit of effort to cut down the wool, but is a much more pleasant task than with PIR insulation boards. Don't have to be as worried about a straight edge! Goggles are essential for overhead install and there are lots of small wool hair particles that will be floating down. Very easy cleanup, just shake off yourself and then vacuum the floors. Unlike with PIR boards where it sticks to you with static. Overall we are very happy with the product, great use of wool!”
