MYLEK 48 Inch White Slimline Remote Control Tower Fan Reviews

4 Rating 4 Reviews
This Tower Fan has all the operational variations that other branded tower fans offer at a much higher price tag. The fan works effectively with an acceptable noise level.

Having purchased this fan, I was so impressed that I bought two more. Elegant looking, tall and powerful ( but not noisy ) with a stream of cool air very much alike to air conditioning. The ionizer function is perfect for that natural feel to the air. Well designed and well built.

I bought this fan direct from Mylek as it was cheaper than Amazon. I bitterly regret that, as I could have returned it at no cost to Amazon, whereas Mylek has a more stringent returns policy which basically means I’m stuck with it. This fan is noisy, and is poorly designed. When it’s turned on it defaults to the mid speed setting and has to be turned down every single time. Each button press results in a loud beep. Sadly loud beeps seem to be normal among cheapo Chinese electronics products. I wish the Chinese designers would read these reviews and learn where they are going wrong. The final nail in the coffin is the bright blue light. Yes it has a button that turns it off, but guess what? When you turn the fan power off, the bright blue light comes back on! The only way to get rid of it is to unplug the fan at the wall. Hardly practical in the bedroom at night. In summary this fan is noisy and poorly designed and as such I cannot recommend it at all.

Ive had this fan a couple of weeks now. Tall and stylish. Fairly quiet on the lowest speed. Love the fact that you can turn off the digital lights for use at night. For the price I’m very impressed.
