The firm contacted my granddaughter, not me, to tell her the delivery of the second blanket was en route . This arrived safely. My grandson then thought of the unoccupied house 2/3 doors away and found the missing parcel at the rear of this house. My granddaughter has sent a photo of the blanket which looks very nice and she is pleased with it.
As it had not rained the packaging and contents were still perfect. My grandchildren were pleased with the present so I am happy to give My First Years a far higher rating for satisfaction with my purchase (I shall be paying for the second blanket when the firm opens tomorrow as the "loss" of the first was not their fault). However I think a simple phone call by the delivery firm would have saved a great deal of time and irritation I cannot believe it is usual to deliver to an unoccupied house.”
