“Bought the personalised glockenspiel (they call it a xylophone on the website, but this item is made of wood). While it looks pretty, one of the keys didn't pay properly because it was screwed down too tightly. We tried to loosen it but it's not improved much.
Along with that issue, the keys/pitches/notes are really strange, so it's hard to make any sort of tune on them. I'm musical, so can make a tune on a lot of instruments but not this one!
Finally, the hammer/stick used to hit them with is pretty narrow, I wouldn't leave a baby/toddler alone with it as it could cause injury. I've got a hammer/stick from another toy for the same age group and it's much chunkier and therefore safer.
I would have returned this but it was for my baby's first birthday which has now already happened.
I wouldn't recommend this product.”
