“The lid has snapped off. I’ve just received this as a present for Christmas and finished building it tonight and had a bit of trouble with the hinges as the placement wasn’t great with the screw holes. However I persevered and finally got them on. The part that helps open and close the lid was then screwed on as stated in the institution’s to do last. It then was not moving when trying to close the lid over. I was confused and thought I had screwed it on wrong so unscrewed it and loosened it a little because the glue/oil was keeping it from moving correctly. Screwed it back on and closed the lid over and it snapped back into the position that it was initially in and took that side of the lid off the hinges with it. Not happy because I absolutely love the box have taken the lid off for now but I am looking for a replacement.”
