“I picked up these gloss black retro mirrors for my Mk1, and honestly, they look fantastic. A huge plus is the tinted glass. It’s a massive help for those nights when a modern SUV is tailgating you with its high beams on. The glass is quite small, but you know what you bought. The real headache is the ball joint. It’s way too loose; once you hit 60mph or clip a pothole, the wind and vibration just push the mirrors out of place. They’re great for style, but you’ll probably find yourself constantly reaching out the window to readjust them unless you find a way to tighten that joint yourself.”
