“This part will NOT FIT all Mk2 & 2.5 models with 6 speed manual transmissions as claimed. There are at least two gear lever types for 6 speed transmissions. Contact MX5 Parts and give them your VIN to be sure. As my gearbox was a transplant into an NA, the VIN of the "donor" car is unavailable. I am forced to give a 1 Star rating as I cannot submit a review without a star rating. I just want to draw attention to the incorrect information that had me ending up with a part I can't use. Returning it from my part of the world means a loss of more than 50%. MX5Parts is still an excellent source of parts. However, owners should not assume that info provided is accurate.”
