“If you take your time (four hours in my case) the task of replacing the halogen bulbs with these high quality LEDs is very straight forward, as long as you do not rush the installation. This excellent quality, and well priced indicator set, does not come with any instructions, and had it not been for the numerous YouTube videos, i wouldn't have dared give it a go, as i am a total novice when it comes to electrical installations. The reason it took me over four hours, was that i took my time, carefully cleaning all the components and wires, and then carefully installing the LEDs inside the lens covers. The end result was most satisfying, a job well done, knowing i had saved myself a few quid in the process, and was not scared in giving this very straight forward, but time consuming installation a go. Well worth the investment, and very satisfying knowing i did it, without damaging the paintwork or electrical connectors.”

Im sure the installation can be done a lot quicker, but when your removing electrical connectors that are flimsy, and fairly fragile, you just take as long as is necessary, knowing any breakages will be very costly. This excellent quality, and well priced indicator set, does not come with any instructions, and had it not been for the numerous YouTube videos, i wouldn't have dared give it a go, as i am a total novice when it comes to electrical installations. “I fitted one (the left one) Then I checked it and compared it with the original on the right. The bright Summer Sun was shining on the rear of the car andmade it obvious that in such conditions the new LED was about half as bright as the 21w.ordinary bulb on the other side. In the bright sunlight the led unit was washed out comparedto the other one and would not attract the attention of a following driver who wasn't actually already looking at the light cluster.The Sun was not directly behind the car, so to be sure of the situation I re-fitted the 21w bulbin the left light, and yes! with the sunlight still the same, it was brighter and more eye-catchingthan the led unit had been.If the day had been overcast and dull or if I had been doing the work in my garage I wouldhave been as impressed with the moving effect and light output as when watching the YouTubeshots which convinced me to buy these. None of the videos I've seen show the LEDs trying tofight against bright sunlight.For safety reasons I'd recommend these only for night-time or indoor use, even in off-road situations.”

“Ordered Thursday, dispatched Friday, received Monday, fitted Tuesday. No instructions but good videos on youtube. Less than an hour to fit including stripping and refitting boot lining. Look fantastic and as a Yorkshireman appreciated black Friday price. Excellent product and service from MX5 Parts.”
