IL Motorsport in Germany have taken the design of the Mk1 scuff plates and using high quality stainless steel have created a scuff plate for the Mk4.
These scuff plates are easy to install through the use of double sided 3M tape and 2 screws with locknuts.
Fits all Mk4 models, 2015> including the new RF model.

“I got these for my Sport Recaro as the standard plastic looks crap. Easy to fit even without instructions. I cleaned the plastic with surgical spirit but adhesion was poor. In my opinion the tape is too thin because of the plastic edging. I had some 1mmx25mm double-sided dense foam which was better. To be fair when the screws are nipped up it pulls them tighter. Look great when on.”

“Just got them delivered today. They really look good fitted on my mazda RF . Only issue if you could call it that is no instructions no wipes for cleaning plastic sills before fitting plates and no accelerator for better adhesion of double sided tape. I had all these so wasn't a problem to me but I could imagine for some they would struggle as it needs to have a good bond so not to lift a few weeks after fitting .”
